Intro
Yeah…
This one’s for the One who saved me.
No turning back.
Let’s go.
Verse 1
I remember nights when I felt alone,
Looking for peace but I couldn’t find home.
Tried everything that the world said works,
But all that left was a whole lot of hurt.
Then You stepped in, changed everything,
Turned my mourning to a song I sing.
Gave me purpose, gave me a reason,
Held me together through every season.
People told me I’d never change,
But God stepped in and rewrote my name.
Now I’m standing here with a testimony,
The King of Heaven came and rescued me.
Chorus
I’m not ashamed of the Gospel,
Not ashamed of the cross.
Jesus paid the price for me,
When I was lost.
So I’m lifting up His name,
Every city, every place.
I was saved by amazing grace,
And I’m not ashamed.
Verse 2
Every day ain’t easy, I still gotta fight,
Trying to live for God in a world so dark.
Temptation comes, yeah, the battle is real,
But God’s still working, He’s helping me heal.
I’m not perfect, never claimed to be,
Just a sinner that Jesus set free.
And if He did it for a guy like me,
Then He can do it for anybody.
So if you’re broken and feeling worn down,
Thinking nobody sees you now,
There’s a Savior with His arms spread wide,
Ready to meet you right where you are.
Chorus
I’m not ashamed of the Gospel,
Not ashamed of the cross.
Jesus paid the price for me,
When I was lost.
So I’m lifting up His name,
Every city, every place.
I was saved by amazing grace,
And I’m not ashamed.
Bridge
The cross before me,
The world behind.
I’m running this race,
One day at a time.
My hope is built
On Christ alone.
No matter where I go,
I know I’m home.
Verse 3
This ain’t about fame, this ain’t about clout,
It’s all about Jesus, so I’m calling Him out.
King of kings, Lord of lords,
The One who deserves all the praise and more.
From Eastern Kentucky to the ends of the earth,
I’m telling everybody what my Savior is worth.
If I got a mic, then I’m using it right,
Pointing people to the Truth, pointing people to the Light.
Outro
When the music fades,
And the crowd goes home,
One thing remains…
Jesus is still King.
Yesterday.
Today.
Forever.
And as for me…
I’ll stand for Christ.
