I been holding all this in for too long

I got hope in my heart even when I feel low

I don't wanna cry, but sometimes tears show

Had to grow up fast, learned things I ain't know

Juvenile days, now I'm tryna find my road

Even when the whole world telling me no

Juvenile memories still follow where I go

I remember them days when I felt misunderstood

Trying to do right, wasn't always doing good

Everybody had opinions, nobody understood

What was going through my head, what I wish they could

I was young with a lot sitting deep in my chest

Trying to act like I'm fine when I'm feeling a mess

I learned every mistake don't define who you are

You can come from a dark place and still reach a star

Juvenile memories, yeah, they stay in my mind

But I can't keep living like I'm stuck in that time

Had to look in the mirror, had to face what I see

Had to learn that tomorrow could be different for me

And I cried some nights, I ain't proud, I ain't ashamed

Every tear that I dropped helped me deal with the pain

Now I'm walking with hope, putting faith in my steps

Trying to build something better with whatever I got left

Every scar got a lesson, every loss got a cost

Sometimes finding yourself means remembering what you lost

I used to think being strong meant you never could cry

Now I know being honest means you don't gotta hide

If I'm hurting, I'm hurting, that's a part of my growth

I can walk through the storm and still carry my hope

Juvenile wasn't forever, it was part of the road

Now I'm carrying my future, not just carrying the load

If I fall, I'ma get up, if I'm lost, I'ma search

If I don't know the answer, I'ma learn what it's worth

Hope when the night gets cold

Hope when the story gets old

Hope when I'm feeling alone

Hope that I find my way home
