Blessings in the Weather

Whispers in the wind, stories untold

Secrets kept under the sky's cold hold

He prayed for a sign, a gift from above

Hoping for something to light up his love

But what came was different, not what he planned

Left out in the rain, slipped through his hands

Weathered and worn, yet he stands alone

Questioning blessings, what he's truly shown

God gave him what he prayed for, but he couldn't see

A blessing denied, lost in the debris

Sometimes what we wish for isn't what we need

In the storm's own mercy, we often bleed

In the quiet, he hears the silent cry

Battling doubts with a weary eye

Who decides what’s worth and what’s real?

When the divine fails to reveal
