I’m still standing

Every morning I wear a smile,

Like the storm was never here.

Holding everyone together,

While I’m drowning in my fears.

They see the strength I always show,

They never see the cost.

Sometimes the one who’s leading everyone,

Feels the most lost.

I’ve cried behind closed doors,

Questioned what I’m fighting for.

But something in my heart still whispers…

I’m still standing, even when my soul is tired.

Still believing through the ashes and the fire.

Every scar became a lesson, every tear became my light.

I may bend, but I won’t break tonight.

If tomorrow gives me one more chance to try,

I’ll keep walking with my head held high.
