I used to whisper when I had something to say

Carried old stories that got in my way

Built little walls out of heartbreak and doubt

I found my voice somewhere between the tears and the laughter

A little more “this is why I’m here”

Turns out the light I was chasing was already in me

Pain wrote the story but it doesn’t hold the pen

I found my voice and I’m using it again

I’ve got wildflower roots and a gypsy soul

A heart full of lessons from the roads I chose

Some days I’m wisdom, some days I’m a mess

Both versions of me deserve happiness

And find the beauty hidden in the gray

The devil tried convincing me survival was enough

But love kept calling and my spirit called my bluff

Now every scar’s a compass, every chapter has a place

And every broken piece helped build this grace

I woke up with scars and a story to tell

Found a little bit of heaven after walking through hell
