Dark moody alt-pop with male vocals; pulsing synth bass and sparse tom groove in the verses, then a wide, bruised chorus with washed-out guitars and stacked harmonies. Subtle distorted vocal doubles on key words for a feverish feel, with a late-song dynamic drop to almost a whisper before the final hook blooms back in with saturated drums and synth swells.
